Good Yields for Everyone

For farmers with stable crop supply looking for new and larger markets, Just Cut is your solution.

The selling process is simple. You let us know what crop your farm will yield and how much you expect. We sign a good faith agreement and when harvest comes in, we inspect and purchase your farm’s produce at a fair, mutually-agreed price. We prepare and deliver it to buyers across New England in packaging identified with the name of your farm.

We contract with you in advance of the growing season so you know before planting that you have a guaranteed sale for your root and storage crops. Our prices, contracts and transactions are direct, fair, and honest. We source-identify all products with your name, so the buyers know exactly who their order is supporting. We partner with a network of regional delivery professionals to keep food miles low and your produce as fresh as possible. As a social enterprise of the Center for an Agricultural Economy, our staff share your values and goals. We are positive and flexible as we help you maximize the viability of your growing operation.

180,000 lbs

In 2024 we have committed to purchasing over 180,000 pounds of produce from local farms. The vegetables will be processed and distributed to regional institutional kitchens ranging from small local schools to larger regional colleges and hospitals.

"Working with Just Cut allows my farm to reach institutions that I would not necessarily have the ability to be in touch with. Our work together strengthens the local food system which, in turn, creates greater resiliency and community reliance on sourcing local produce. It is extremely gratifying as a grower knowing that my produce can reach thousands of people throughout regional institutions and can offset the need for accessing ingredients from long-distance producers. Together we reinforce our New England farming tradition and begin to realize the potential that our region can feed itself."
