At each step of the food’s journey from the farm to your kitchen, we maintain efficiency, cleanliness, and freshness. We inspect, wash, and minimally process each batch of root and storage crops at the Vermont Food Venture Center. Just Cut is an FDA-licensed food producer at this commercial shared-use kitchen in Hardwick, VT. All food crops are prepared by certified food handlers and based on the highest standards of cleanliness and safety. We store raw produce in our facility at optimal temperature and humidity to retain peak freshness over time. We offer food buyers a choice of peeled, diced, or shredded preparation styles, all conveniently packaged in 5-pound bags and 20-pound cases.
What is Ready-to-Use?
Our root and storage crops are prepared for ease of use in your small- or large-scale institutional kitchen. We inspect, wash, and minimally process each fresh, raw batch. None of our produce is ever cooked, seasoned, or otherwise treated. We offer food buyers a choice of peeled, diced, or shredded styles, all conveniently packaged in 4 or 5 lb. bags and 16-30 lb. cases. Some bulk options, too.
